This Performance Air Filter by MWR is made from fire-resistant materials and built upon almost 20 years of experience in developing and producing high performance air filters through experience gained in working at some of the biggest air filter companies in Europe for multiple disciplines such as World MX, Dakar (bikes, cars and trucks), Moto GP, WSB, BSB, AMA and even Rallycross. In this 20 year period our search for the very best materials and constant quest for knowledge has driven us on into developing the MWR air filter.

The Performance Filter (MC-160-24)
This listing is for the performance filter only. It's a direct upgrade from your bikes standard filter, offering better airflow and protection than the original. This filter will (when maintained correctly) last the life of your bike, simply clean and re-oil once a year.
The Endurance Kit (MC-165-24)
For MAXIMUM PERFORMANCE, the optional Endurance Kit is available separately, which replaces the stock OEM snorkel lid with one that deletes the restrictive snorkel and has a much bigger opening for MAXIMUM AIRFLOW. It has radius edges to smooth airflow, and includes a Dakar-style water-repellant dust cover to act as a pre-filter while giving maximum protection - same technology as what professional Dakar Rally riders use. The dust cover has an elasticated bottom that fits into a grove on the bottom of the replacement lid, and the beauty of this system is there is no need to carry extra pre-filters that rob horsepower and require you to store old pre-filters. When the dust cover gets dirty, just pull it off and rinse it in a water crossing or with water on your person, shake it dry, and re-install in seconds. You can even use the Endurance Kit with the stock air filter if you chose too. Tuning is highly suggested.
