Engineered for peak performance on both the track and the road, the Alpinestars Supertech R7 (S-R7) Helmet blends cutting-edge carbon composite construction with advanced safety technologies. Its precision-engineered design ensures superior protection, optimized airflow, and all-day riding comfort for the most demanding motorcyclists.

Advanced Shell Construction

The helmet features an advanced multi-composite shell construction using pre-preg epoxy resin for maximum strength and performance. Specialized layers of carbon, aramid fiber, and fiberglass deliver lightweight yet ultra-protective performance with excellent energy dissipation, radial strength, and penetration resistance. The streamlined aerodynamic design includes integrated collarbone recesses on each side, fitted with two PLASMA inserts designed for high-performance shock absorption and to reduce the risk of injuries during a slide. For maximum situational awareness, the S-R7 offers an exceptional 220° peripheral vision and 57° vertical vision.

Inner Shell and Superior Protection

The inner shell features a multi-density EPS liner with seven pieces in six densities, strategically positioned for optimal impact absorption. The EPS liner is engineered with dimensions specific to each shell size to ensure a precise fit. The EPS surface is flush and features Alpinestars' specialized coating developed to deliver proven rotational impact protection. By acting as a low-friction slip plane designed to mimic the brain’s natural defense against oblique impacts, this technology helps decrease the risk of concussion and other brain injuries.

Aerodynamics and Ventilation

Developed to minimize turbulence and reduce neck strain, the S-R7 delivers ultra-low drag and exceptional high-speed stability. The shell includes an integrated spoiler and lateral winglets to further enhance performance. The ventilation system is optimized for maximum cooling with a total of 10 ports:

• 6 intake ports (3 in the chin guard and 3 on top) regulated by a slidable top vent mechanism.
• 4 exhaust ports (2 lateral ports on the chin bar and 2 at the rear of the helmet).
• Chin bar extractor vents designed to efficiently extract humid air from the interior.

The slidable top vent reveals three air channels for maximum airflow, while air from the chin vents is channeled towards the inner side of the shield to effectively prevent fogging and misting.

Technical Specifications and Certification

The helmet is fitted with an ECE 22.06 homologated, optical Class 1 shield featuring double-sided anti-scratch treatment. The shield thickness is precision-engineered, varying from 1.6 mm on the sides to 2.6 mm in the center for maximum clarity and protection.
