This lightweight helmet features a thermo-injected shell incorporating a special polymer blend. Engineered with varying degrees of thickness, the shell is designed to provide the perfect balance of impact protection and weight reduction. For maximum safety, the inner and outer surfaces are specifically engineered to minimize the effects of oblique impacts. Alpinestars’ patented low-friction coating is applied to the inner EPS liner, acting as a slip plane to reduce rotational acceleration forces during certain impacts, mimicking the body's natural defenses.
The helmet’s design allows for a tailored fit through customizable crown and cheek pads, ensuring the gear can adapt as the rider grows. Integrated hydration tube channels are built into the cheek pads for added convenience during long rides, while the comfort liner is constructed using recycled materials for a lower carbon footprint.
