Inspired by some of today's most popular trends, the Speedflight Performance Riding Shoe takes street, sport-styled sneakers and infuses them with engineered riding protection. These are the perfect shoes for short rides and commuting, while remaining comfortable enough to wear every day, all day long.
Constructed from a performance ripstop upper with seamless reinforcement panels and a molded, semi-rigid heel piece with injected foam, these shoes feature an advanced and lightweight main chassis. Reinforcing the shoe is the Transversal Protection Frame (TPF) midsole, which is sandwiched between a dual-density rubber sole with front protective walls, a comfort layer, and a durable EVA midsole with lateral stabilizers. Also incorporated into the sole is an asymmetric TPU heel counter for added protection and stability.
For superior comfort, the shoe includes an OrthoLite® removable insock for great breathability and all-day walking comfort. The sole itself features an "aggressive" 10mm drop—the height difference between the rider's heel and toes—allowing for natural walking movement off the bike. Altogether, the front-to-back drop, compressed EVA midsole, and high sidewalls provide a "cradled" fit that enhances foot stability for both walking comfort and riding confidence.
