At the core of its design, the Drystar® membrane offers effective weather protection in wet conditions, ensuring your feet stay dry without sacrificing breathability. For superior walking comfort, the sole unit features a 9 mm ‘DROP’—the same offset found in many high-performance running shoes—to ensure a smooth heel-to-toe transition. This is further enhanced by an EVA midsole and specifically engineered Forefoot Flex grooves that promote natural movement and flexibility.
Safety is integrated discreetly throughout the shoe. It features a full-length Thermoplastic Polyurethane (TPU) inner sole plate for superior riding protection and hidden asymmetric lateral and medial TPU ankle discs for effective impact defense. The gear shift zone is reinforced with a highly abrasive-resistant TPU layer, while an internal EVA layer helps reduce pressure on the foot during gear changes.
For maximum stability, the oil-resistant dual rubber compound outsole features an asymmetric stud configuration, providing excellent levels of grip and abrasion resistance on slippery or uneven surfaces. Inside, a lightweight bootie construction provides a snug, glove-like fit, complemented by a bellows-construction tongue that stays securely in position while riding.
