At the core of the CR-8 is a 100% waterproof and breathable Gore-Tex® membrane, ensuring your feet stay dry and comfortable regardless of the downpour. The construction utilizes a stretch waterproof outer bootie integrated with breathable textile panels and an angled waterproof zipper closure. Inside, a dedicated inner bootie features a speed lace internal closure system, providing a secure, custom fit and the highest levels of breathable comfort.
Safety is paramount with the inclusion of the Alpinestars TPF (Transversal Protection Frame) midsole, which protects the foot while maintaining the flexibility needed for natural movement. Protection is further enhanced by multiple-layer malleolus inserts and a reinforced heel counter and toe box to guard against impacts.
For those miles spent exploring on foot, the CR-8 excels with excellent walking ergonomics. The design incorporates a 10 mm drop and a removable OrthoLite® insock for superior cushioning and breathability.
