The Alpinestars Andes v3 Drystar® Jacket is engineered using Alpinestars’ exclusive Drystar® construction to provide 100% waterproofing and high levels of breathability, even in the most demanding riding conditions. This technically advanced jacket offers a perfect balance of protection and abrasion resistance, making it adaptable to all weather conditions and versatile for any touring adventure.
Constructed with advanced reinforced polyfabric textile for enhanced durability, the jacket features a newly developed Direct Ventilation System (DVS). This system utilizes zippered chest air intakes and back exhaust ports to ensure high levels of airflow. For personalized cooling, upper chest zippered hand pockets work in tandem with the ventilation openings. The interior includes a removable long-sleeve thermal liner (100g body, 80g sleeves), ensuring rider comfort on both hot and cold days.
Safety and protection are paramount. The jacket is Tech-Air® 5 ready and comes equipped with removable internal impact protection at the elbows and shoulders. For further security, the chest and back compartments can accommodate Alpinestars Nucleon inserts (sold separately). Reinforced polymer-printed texturing in critical elbow and lower arm areas provides enhanced abrasion resistance, while reflective details improve rider visibility.
Practicality is integrated throughout the design with front waterproof cargo pockets, a large external utility pocket on the lower back, and a waterproof internal wallet pocket. The integrated soft-edge collar and 3D mesh construction enhance comfort over long distances, while pre-contoured sleeves with accordion stretch panels provide freedom of movement.
