It connects directly to the RapidBike wiring harness or to the pit-lane limiter switch F27-SWPIT (if already installed). It is universal application since it can work in both directions, push or pull (not in both directions at the same time).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eYou do not need to replace the sensor in case you purchase a new bike model or changes the operating of the gear lever (1st gear up or new rear set).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe sensor detects the force applied and consequently sends a signal, therefore there are no moving parts which can be damaged after using for a long period of time.
