On the Z900 \/ Z900RS there is a lot of extra and \nunnecessary fuel to limit the bikes performance. On the same front, \nbetter fuel economy can be retained.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eIGNITION - \u003c\/strong\u003eOptimized to make the most power while still being safe and factory reliable.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eTHROTTLE DE-RESTRICTION -\u003c\/strong\u003e \u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eGiving you the ability to utilize 100% of the throttle \nis paramount in track situations where you need all the power you can \nget on demand. The factory file has a “dead spot” on the top end \nrestricting the throttle from 7000+ RPM, down to 47% towards redline \nthat kills the bikes power curve when it should be making the most. This\n also means any kind of straight line acceleration also suffers. We \nremove these factory restrictions to ensure a smooth and predictable \nthrottle, all the way to redline.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eLOWER FAN-ON TEMP -\u003c\/strong\u003e\n Let’s face it, this bike rides a little on the hot side. To help not \nonly the riders enjoyment but also keep the engine slightly cooler, \nwe've lowered the fan-on temps.\u003c\/li\u003e\n\u003cli\u003e\n\u003cstrong\u003eINCREASED RPM LIMITER (at customer request) - \u003c\/strong\u003e\u003cstrong\u003e\u003c\/strong\u003eThe stock RPM limiter is set to 10,500 RPM mostly due \nto the closing throttle. We have been testing 11,000 RPM with zero \nnegative side effects. We set the RPM limiter for 11,000 RPM in all \ngears. This helps you stay in the powerband longer and reduces the need \nto shift at the track.
